The Variety Theatre, owned by Harry Hill, was located at 26 East Houston Street near Broadway and Mulberry Street. Hill promoted wrestling and boxing matches at his theatre, and as a wrestler and boxer himself, Hill was also the "bouncer" of his own venue. The competitors who were featured at the venue include James H.
